This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
You know the phrase Art tells the truth by using lies, or some variation of it? Well that's bullshit. I've been thinking about it a lot, and all art does, all photography really does, is tell lies and brings up questions. The more you think it tells you, the more questions it brings up. And then where are you? You learned nothing, and you know less than what you did when you started. It makes you think what it means, what story is behind it, what it's telling you and what it's hiding from you. You're shown an image, and what you're supposed to do, what you know you're supposed to do, is figure out what it means, why it was made. You're "supposed" to figure it out. Well fuck that, just look at the damn thing! Screw having to have a reason. It's not about a reason. It's about seeing what it means to you. That can't be graded, and it can't be wrong. So go look, and figure out what the fuck it means to you.
thanks man, most of it is stuff from my senior year, and the last couple series are from my intro class last semester. i have some more...i just need to scan it in
